Here is the cover for the split 7″ between me and the band Pswingset from Austin, TX / Akron, OH. I’ve known the guys in this band forever (Jordan, since he was in Adios. They used to play shows with The Progress all the time). They are heavily responsible for keeping D.I.Y. alive in the town of Akron, OH… always a favorite place to stop between Philadelphia and Chicago. This 7″ will be my first release on Count Your Lucky Stars. The records will be going to press soon and when they do, we’ll be launching a pre-order, as well as putting new songs online. I’ll keep you posted.

Since I’ve been on tour, we’ve been talking about songs/bands we’d like to cover… I think this is standard practice for bands on the road. That being said, I decided to cover a song by the The One AM Radio (Hrishikesh Hirway). I’ve seen him play countless times since I was 16 and have always loved this song in particular… Even having requested it once in Billy from LickGoldenSky’s basement (nerd facts). Former Thieves brought an 8 Track recorder with them and I decided it was time to learn this song and record it. You can download it here. Just right click and save. Thanks Hrishikesh.
