Click the cover below and it’ll take you where you need to be. We each did one original song as well as covered each others songs. I did a song of theirs called Raw Bar OBX 2002. They did Batsto (the first song on 52 Weeks).

Touring with my friends (old and new) in My Heart To Joy, Snowing and Glocca Morra was a blast. The shows were truly incredible despite how tough it seemed at certain points for it all to come together. Best dudes all around. Here is a photo of us in Washington, DC.

Now that my summer is winding down, I’m getting prepped for a series of releases and tours for the fall including splits with Everyone Everywhere and Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate). And, after a series of pressing mishaps, the shipping of the split with Pswingset… Sorry for the delay on that one. I’ll be mixing my split LP with KOJI all week, this week. We just finished the mixing for the Stay Ahead Of The Weather 7″ and we’ll be announcing a label/release soon.

All of these records should (hopefully) be ready in time for FEST 9, which I’ll be touring down to Gainsville, FL with some awesome friends. You will probably be able to find me stagediving during Dillinger Four or Paint It Black in between a bunch of shows we’ll be trying to set up on the fly. I can’t wait to announce those tourdates. I’ll also be announcing some September touring soon and perhaps another trip overseas to round out the year. So much going on.

So now that I’m done my recording frenzy, I’ll be leaving for a series of EAST COAST shows with my friends My Heart To Joy and Snowing. I’ll also be with Glocca Morra, who I haven’t met yet, but can’t wait to kick it with. Posted below are the dates. Best Friends: Castevet / Revolution Summer

Since I’ve moved to Chicago, few people have become as close to me as the guys in Castevet. These dudes are some of my best friends in (and outside) of music. This past week, we did 5 shows together in the midwest. It was one of the best times I’ve ever had being on tour (even though it was so quick) and it really hammered our friendship (as well as excitement over our split 7″) home. There were shows, jokes and great food/snacks. I love these guys. We’ll be posting new songs as well as the 7″ artwork on July 14th.

So, I didn’t have 52 Weeks CD’s for the Castevet jam. I decided to take charge and make a limited (to 50 copies) six song CDR tour cd. It’s SIX TOWNS. One song from each split 7″ I have coming out this year. You can order what I have left on my BIG CARTEL.

Now that I’m back home for the month of July, I have a ton to do. Stay Ahead Of The Weather will be recording our first 7″ with Mark Michalik from July 16th to July 19th. Then I stay at Mark’s place for an extra week while I record 5 new songs for my side of a split LP with another best friend of mine. This release will be announced soonish. You guys should be stoked. Following all of that recording I’ll be going on tour with my friends My Heart To Joy, Grown Ups and Snowing in the Northeast. Then I’ll be flying to Orlando to meet up with my other friends Native and Former Thieves and do the Midwest. These dates will be announced and posted soon!

Back From Europe

The guys in Grown Ups are some of my new best friends. Finally home from our 35 day European tour, it feels really great to be back in the states. That being said, the memories that we made during our stay overseas will last a lifetime. Big thanks to GU, Kirk, Chase, all of the promoters/venues… really everyone we met. We were really made to feel at home somewhere (everywhere) so far away. I can’t wait to go back.

I’m leaving on Thursday for a 30 day UK/EU tour with my friends Grown Ups. We’re all super excited/nervous/scared/excited/nervous/broke/scared/excited. All of those things in the best way possible. I’ve got a new digital camera and one of those universal outlet thingamabobs. I’ll be sure to post things from the trip. Below are the dates.
